New member needs help!

Hi, everyone I'm a new member. I Usually i post on VIPstylecars.com but no one seems to have an answer for me. Yes I did search. Here is the problem I'm having yesterday i was repalceing one of the front dome lights and i think i shorted something out. now one of my rear map lights wont turn on and the other one wont turn off WTF, and only 1 front one works fine and the other one u have to push the botton for it to work O and my alarm goes off at random. i took it to a auto electric shop and they hooked up the scaner and no codes came out, but he thinks its my BCM (body control module)that went out. has anybody had the problem before? Thanks

Have you gone through the EL Section of the FSM (Factory Service Manual):

I think you're on the right track with the BCM. I would go through all of the check procedures in the FSM that Lino linked and go from there.
