My poor little nissan has been through a rough spot. First the ecu died, then she was stolen from the repair shop and had the dash ripped out and the visors ripped off, then the starter died. After fixing all of that my gf drove her straight into a barrier and crumpled the passenger side in. She has 197,000 miles. I was hoping to get at least 250,000. Fortunately nothing in the engine bay was broken, The truck still drives pretty good. but I need to get this front end fixed. what years do the body panels interchange? I had a guy who was going to sell me a 92 but it looked different and I dont think they would fit. Also I saw on ebay a radiator support, it looked like a bolt on, but I think mine is welded? Anyone have any idea on a good place to start?

I was under the impression that all HB's 1986.5 thru 1997 all had the same body. With the exception of 4x4's which have pumped-out front fenders. Early Pathfinders appear to have alot in common with the HB, but IDK exactly.

thats what I thought, went and looked at the guys 92 and I know for a fact that the bumper and grill were different, The side panels looked different as well. A serach on ebay looks like alot of body stuff says 93 to 96 or 93 to 97, I think some things might be interchangeable, but really I need body panels and things like that. Hopefully someone who has been through this can tell me for sure

Grilles and bumpers changed over the years but all will interchange. If you go to the older style bumper you will need to change the brackets as well. Everything else is plug and play. Even 4x4 fenders will work if you don't mind a 'wide' look to the truck. One thing I almost forgot, the headlights can be different on some models, some had Pathfinder-style headlights which can be swapped but you need the HLs and the grille to make that work.

It helps to have a pull yard available to pick and choose. I have a 90 4x4 std cab and have been able to fit '94 front Pathfinder fenders, '95 pu doors, '97 bed and rear bumper, '91 tail gate, '91 dash, '91 Pathfinder door panels, '97 headliner, '86 rear sliding window, '95 bucket seats from a Pathfinder. Trial and error, grabbing the newer fender requires you get the antenna and trim to fit, same with the headliner, make sure you grab the trim pieces to finish it. As mentioned on the bumper I didn't get the brackets and ended up drilling a new set of holes to accommodate the needed bolt holes. I love this truck. Thanks guys, The guy with the 92 wants $450 for the truck, its engine is blown its pretty beat up and ugly, I really wanted to stay with the 95 style so I only have to do one side. Theres another guy near me that is parting out a 93 4x4. are the fenders different? will I need to both sides? Also what about the radiator support? is that welded in?
