I did a search but could not find the answer. I have a 2000 Maxima with a headlight issue. Being in Canada it has daytime running lights which work fine, the right headlight will only work on brights, and not on the regular setting. I already replaced the bulb as well as the fuse and it made no difference. Any suggestions?

I'm guessing it's a switch issue... fairly common.

Fortunately, it's not hard to swap out. Grab one from a junkyard and see if that helps.

Swith the passenger/driverside bulbs and see if the problem still persists on that side. If it does, then it's most likely the headlight switch/stalk. If the problem switches to the other side then it's a bad bulb.
