Hello Fellow Nicolodians,

My name is Sean and I recently joined NICO. When I was 18 (many years ago) I owned a 1981 Datsan 200SX hatchback. Last month I picked up my new 2010 Nissan Altima Sedan, Super Black. The only change thus far is to drop in a K&N Engine Filter, which I did on the day I took delivery.

Next week I will be taking it to have all of the windows tinted with 3M non-metallic 35% VLT. I think that I will hold off on any engine modifications until I research further; currently I am getting 39 highway/ 33 city MPG and I do not want to loose fuel efficiency.

Additionally, if anyone is selling their OEM 16" alloy rims (5-114 x 7") please contact me so we can talk. For some reason, my dealership put on steel rims with wheel caps and I would like to change them out.

I will post photos as soon as I have something worthy of posting.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Yeah, my wife's Camry (K&N Engine Filter) gets really great fuel efficiency, but on our last trip from Frederick MD to Pittsburgh PA we used the Altima and was also AMAZED. I really don't want to change anything in the engine, but I would like to make minor upgrades to the exterior. It also helped that I used the cruise control on the highway, as well as Mequiars Clay bar, Mequiars Polish and two coats of Mequiars NXT 2.0 wax surely didn't hurt.

Lol, Ant.

Welcome to the forums! I like "NICOlodean". Pretty clever. Let's see some pics of the Alti! (And the 200SX if you have any)
