Buy the newest you can afford! The 05 will be your best bet in terms of finding one with low mileage and has the longest remaining factory warranty. The 05 has a few body style changes over the 03-04. One option that took me a while to figure out was the rear air vents/rear reclining seats (I think only avail on sedans but not sure). Are you looking for a coupe or sedan?Color?Wheels?Man/Auto?Options you HAVE to have?(I'm just being curious with all the questions)Welcome to the forum and post some pics when you get one!

Whatever model you buy, you will not be disappointed!

Welcome to NICO. Getting a G is a great thing. They are great cars.NICO also has a couple of G owners that are pretty active here and live in Phoenix area. I'm sure they can offer advice on the G and where to get one. Paging Jeff and/or Dave...

As with any luxury car, you should always set aside around $1000 for maintenance on this vehicle. Belts, Fluids, etc

You dont have to worry about fuel filters, it has a lifetime filter. You dont have to worry about timing belts, it has a timing CHAIN.

These cars dont have a lot of issues, so far been reliable for most everyone. One thing to look out for is oil consumption in some engines, but that is not as common as it sounds.

Oh ya, Go black cuz its sexy.

Welcome to NICO

My advice is to wait until you can afford a new one.

Perhaps you can hold out and get something cheap in the meantime while you save?

Get a carfax subscription and pre-screen the cars online (cars.com, autotrader.com).

Shoot for KBB private party or lower if possible.

And, get the newest with the lowest miles that you can afford.

Oh, and they don't get the best mileage and most use prem. gas, so you might want to take that into consideration.

Also, you should get the vin from the internet/dealer and check with your insurance company to see what impact the new purchase will have on your insurance prem.

Telcoman uses 87 octane, but I can hear his car pinging from here!!

Good Luck!!
