Greetings to all! I am a less-than-24 hours-old owner of a 2003 Emerald Mist G35 Sedan. I traded in my beloved 1997 BMW 528i on this vehicle. My first impression? "Wow!" This car (so far, anyway) is amazing. What a ride. My car is equipped nicely; it has the winter and premium packages. Xenons - nice touch. One thing that I already miss that my bimmer had was a multi-function display. Would love to be able to see miles-to-empty and MPG displayed but I guess I'll get over that in a hurry. I always thought that my bimmer had a great highway feel to it but this car is at the very least equal to that ride. The 5er was a tad quieter on the road, it seems, but the G has much more passing power.

As a member of auto forums over the years, I know some of the rules - SEARCH FIRST and no flaming. I hope I don't ask too many stupid questions on the way to learning how my vehicle works. This looks like a nice community and I hope to be around for a long time. Happy Holidays to everyone and greetings from Lexington, Kentucky!

Welcome to NICO!

Congrats on the purchase. Don't be surprised if the "new car" feeling doesn't wear off with this puppy, mine still hasn't!
