Hey guys, I have been a member of all the other sentra forums for a while now and I am finally a member here. I finally got some pics worth making a showoff thread. Here are some pics of my turbo 1.8. I have been working on the turbo setup for quite a few months now trying to develope a few things. I plan on running lower compression forged pistons/rods and new head gasket in the near future. I am also getting rid of the "slush box" this summer and doing a 5 spd swap. I still have alot of work to do, so keep that in mind...... Let me know what you guys think.

Very nice work indeed. Looks clean. It's an auto right now?

And, welcome to Nico! Enjoy your stay.

ya its an auto right now. I wasn't planning on going this route when I bought this car a few years ago so I was stuck with an auto when I changed my mind. Just looking for all the parts right now to do the swap. Should be done the end of this summer.

Once that manual swap is in, that will be bad***. What sort of power #'s have you squeezed out of that QG?

No, they are Drag DR17 rims that I have painted myself. As far as numbers, I have no idea. With the auto trany I am not transfering power to the wheels very well. I am shooting for being in the high 14 second range in the quarter mile. I will have to up the boost to do that probably and that wont be until I build the bottom end. I am only pushing 7lbs. But as soon as I do the swap I will be posting numbers and 1/4 times.

WOW I'm impressed, Turbo on a 1.8???? You have to tell me man, how did you do it and what it cost?? I got a 1.8 myself and want to add turbo some day but they don't make turbos for the 1.8, only for the Specs. So tell me how you do it and an estimate to know how many days i have to go without eating lol. Anyways, Kick*** ride man. Keep us posted. Here's a few pics of my whip btw.

There is so much that is wrong with the auto trans lol. Even with a shift kit, they only promise its meant to holdup to like 15% increase in hp or something like that. I am pushing much more than a 15% increase. The 5spd is a must for me atleast with my trany being so messed up now. I get alot of hondas coming up to me, but until I get the 5spd I really dont want to run anyone. I have done it a few times and I actually keep up with my buddies Vtec Prelude SH which comes stock 200 hp, and he has bolt ons. My trany is the only thing keeping me back as far as getting the power to the wheels. The kit you can purchase is a good starter kit, which is what I did, but it is best to piece together your own kit TRUST ME!!!!!! it will save you time and money and you will have better parts. I spent about 2k at first then switched some things so it ended up being a little more. I run the AFC Neo as far as fuel tuning.

Looks Nice! The reason why I was asking about the shift kit because I did'nt think they made a shift kit for a Automatic on a sentra. Go for the 5-Speed Bro, Take some pictures before and after. Racing = Spending more money on your car. What is the companys info on getting a shift kit on a auto? Who makes the shift kit? Peace Out!!
