Hey guys im Ryan from Australia, stumbled across this site looking for answers and upgrade suggestions.

I currently own a datsun 1200 ute (b120) project car thats about halfway through a SR20DE conversion and a 1992 navara (hardbody pickup) dual cab as a daily driver that boasts a meaty KA24E auto hahaha.

I wouldnt mind the KA having a bit more poke as its a fair slug with the auto and will be doing the usual extractors and exhaust etc soon but i was wondering about the intake side, i have noticed on egay that aftermarket intake plenems are available for turbo versions but there is no mention of them being used on non turbo engines.

Is there any reason these intake plenems cant be used on non turbo engines?

My guess would be that the injectors on the sr20det are of a different type or flow more fuel than the naturally aspirated SR20de. Could be wrong.

We don't have an upload option for pictures. If you want to post them, they have to be hosted somewhere else like photobucket or facebook and then you simply copy the [img] link.

Found some more info on your question OP

http://www.sr20forum.com/sr20ve-sr16ve/ ... eable.html

SR20's have two intake manifold designs, high port and low port, and within those two designs, only some are interchangeable due to the positioning of the bolts.

So in short, if you have a 91-93 sr20de and wanted a det intake manifold, look for one off of an awd sr20det. You want a high port manifold.

But if you have a 94+ DE, you might have to look for a SR20VE mani as this is the only one that will almost bolt up to 94+ SR20's. The guy mentions he is not sure if it bolts up 100% correctly. These are low port manifolds.
