Hey guys new member here. I also just bought a 300zx NA 2+2 auto 220,xxx with 2 1/2 exhaust cat back. Rest all stock far as I can tell. New to the zx but not new to z's have had a 77 280 and a 78 280. So my plans for my zx is to get as much to the wheels as I can with out turbocharged it. I know I know everyone says turbocharged it. But I like the na idea behind it. So I am think of a ecu upgrade,headers,x-pipe, Port and polish heads, valve job, intake pap, bigger TB. That's what I can think of so far. Open to ideas. Any ways always looking for people in my area. Up in Bellingham wa.

Welcome Bellingham!
Congrats on the purchase, but with that many miles be sure to do ALL of your maintenance before trying for more power. Maintenance would be in the Z32's case most of the electrical connectors needing service, the injectors and connectors if not harness, and surely more as these old Ladies are very consistent with their elderly needs. Brakes will be the #1.5 item as the smaller '90 calipers and rotors need to go, then probably at minimum the FUCAs and probably the tension rods as well, if not the whole shooting match when inspected and trying to get an alignment. Most of us beat to the punch and go with coilovers and the adjustable parts to replace the aged OEM.
Also, be aware that the NA does not give much power nor cheaply, the reason for the "go TT" comment you will always get. It's true. Have both, no comparison possible.
Anyway, have fun and Good Luck!

Great news with the tb, very important.
Be SURE to get the 30mm brakes when replacing the 27mm stuff- either a '91 and later partout or GTR brakes work great for a cost-conscious alternative to the expensive and basically needless big brake kits. Proper pads and competent OEM brakes and high temp fluid will work great up until tracking needs.
Also, Powertrix is a vendor here and has the best possible service available with probably the best products for our cars. Charles the owner is a great guy to talk to, and they often run ads with deals so be ready for those- and they also often have a coilover set or two laying around at the lower costs along with the necessary adjustable parts so a call is ALWAYS worth it.
