Hello NicoClub!

My name is Tim, I'm a new member to this forum. I recently picked up a 2000 Nissan Frontier XE 2WD with the 2.4L 4 cylinder (KA24DE) & automatic transmission, with 210k on the clock. I'm new to owning Nissans, but not new to cars. I'm a service writer at a small shop in southern New York state in Westchester (my boss has a 72 Datsun 240z) so I'm always learning about cars. I'm also a huge car nut. This Frontier makes car #13 or 14 that I've owned. I also have a base model 92 Saab c900 5 speed. Heres a few quick pics of the Frontier:

Welcome to NICO Club! Your truck is clean -- nice acquisition!

We've got a lot of great resources here, though it sounds like you already know your way around automotive mechanics pretty well. Tell your boss about the forum too! Our owner and his wife (AZHitman and nissangirl74) are classic Datsun geeks and have restored plenty. They'd especially love to swap stories.

Thanks for the welcomes! For as many miles as the Frontier has it runs damn well, it needs an alignment and the climate control issue fixed. It belonged to a family friend in upstate NY since they bought it in 2003 with 53k on the clock. I've been learning about car since my teens. My friends father has over the years imported various Italian cars, from old Fiat 500s to a pair of Lancia Delta HF Integrales, so any time I was over we would hang out in the garage and I would start hanging around with his father in the garage taking in whatever I could.
Heres the list of cars I've owned starting with my first car, a Volvo.

1. 1985 Volvo 740 GLE
2. 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme coupe 350 V8
3. 1987 Saab 900 S
4. 1991 Saab 900 turbo
5. 1983 BMW 533i
6. 1990 Saab 9000 S
7. 1992 Volvo 960
8. 1986 Saab 9000 turbo
9. 1990 Saab 900 turbo
10. 1992 Buick Century 3.3
11. 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee
12. 1992 Saab 900 (current)
13. 2000 Frontier (current)
