DJ... remember to look at that rabbit holding a pancake (i dont understand it lol) when august rolls around and a $100 bill aint enough to fill your tank with $7.50 93 octane

DJ sounds too impersonal. Call me Max, or simply Andy (my real name).

I don't get the rabbit with the pancake either, which is why it is so awesome.

But uh, yeah, I fill my 3.5 with 87 and it's been humming along quite nicely.

isnt that bad for the engine? its not only the higher octane (more expensive gas) but the fact that it basically VAPORIZES out of the tank lol... i drive around 400 miles a week

My 87 takes me further!

Nope, not bad for the engine. 93 is recommended, but not required for the 3.5. The 3.5 will get slightly better performance from 93 reportedly. However, I used to use 93 all the time and then once gas prices started rising this past summer I started using 87. Since then, I haven't noticed any decrease in performance.
