I have been a long time fan of Nissan and Infiniti cars. I have owned a 05 G35 coupe and a 09 370z previously along with over 20 other makes and models. I have recently picked up a project and needed a little help with it.
I am looking for a good indy mechanic or someone who works on cars over nights and weekends that would be interested in helping me out with this (paid of course).
I just purchased a 1978 280z that is having a few small issues. The main issue I need to get fixed right away has to do with wiring. I can install parts and help out but I honestly know very little to nothing about car wiring. The car has a newer alternator, and a new battery, however it will not hold a charge. I am looking for someone to troubleshoot and fix this issue for me. Please let me know if you know anyone that you could point me to that is familiar with this type of thing! My plans with the car are to either throw a nice cam and start updating the suspension and drivetrain, as well as possibly reverting to carbs and getting a nice triple weber setup or something comparable. I want a fun auto-x car that I can possibly street drive from time to time. Would love to get this issue sorted asap!
