Hey I’ve been creeping on nico for a while now, and I think it was time for me to introduce my self! my names simon im 18, I live in Calgary Alberta, I love 240sx since my buddy owned one, it just caught me eye so I had to get one. At first I was stupid I thought I had found a good deal on a 89 sr20det 240sx it had basic mods like sr20det redtop aprox 60k, momo steering wheel, some s*** hub, b&m short shifter, koyo rad, blitz bov, fuel pump, side mount intercooler, boost gauge, oil pressure gauge, stage 2 clutch, some unknown cat back exhaust not too loud not too quiet, Vlsd, I thought it was a steal for 5000 but little did I know, when I arrived and looked at the car, it had look like s***, drifted to s***, just s***, there was damage from the whole driver side fender all the way back to the rear quarter panel, so we made a deal and I took this car home for 3000, I still regret it cause the damage is terrible but I was desperate for a 240 at the time, just had to get my self in a 240 and drive home like a happy child haha. So on with the pics! After owning it for the first day I replaced the damage fender and the damaged door. This is when I replaced door and fender after I got her the first day, did the sleepy eye mod cause it is cool!

I couldn’t stand the color of the car, being in 2 different colors, so I sanded it, didn’t really care about the quality because it was only temporary after a day’s work this is what I got. also did the chuki conversion forgot to install the extensions

After the car looked like this with some dark grey primer

Then I got my hands on some hicas side skirts from the 92seAnd installed it

I know u guys think I installed it wrong but I used double sided tape inside, it didn’t work out, I guess my car doesn’t like it, so I took them off cause their s***. Then I got my self on a really good deal on a s13 Silvia conversion for my car whole front end for 200 I couldn’t pass it, came with beaten up origin stylish front bumper, hood, 2 fender one had a dent in it kinda beat, triple projector, mismatch corner lights one is the stock light and the other was origin… sigh stupid guy but it came with a gtr grill so I cant complain. So I installed it right away. This is all the pics I have. Without the bumper and the corner lights and the grill. also had a chance to wire the low beam with the fogs

Oh since I have owned this car I added a front mount intercooler, my buddy was nice enough to switch me mint fendersI have added alpine speakersHks ssqv bov, new brakes, new rotors, tanabe front and rear strut bars, Cusco coilovers, new thermostat, urban performance rad hose kit, ngk sparkplugs, oil change. Also bought a rear origin aggressive bumper, and ordered 50mm origin type 2 overfenders for the back and im still deciding on the fronts, and also ordered origin stylish sideskirts also that will be comin in next week

And this is how my car sits now in the garage nothing is on right so gotta wait till its warmer to do everything

I will get more pics later on! Thanks for looking enjoy

Great to see another local s13!

Scope951 from beyond.ca

Wondering if you were buddies with richard (red240 with full 180sx interior)?Glad to see the car being taken care of!, this upcoming summer I would love to see it.

Also the drift tax up north is beyond belief I am just as guilty with my first 240 but when it is the car you want, not much can talk you out of it.

Either way, cool project, if you ever need help or whatever, never afraid to help out another s13 owner

Welcome to the boards from another newber, lol. But I guess you aren't so new since you said you were a lurker though, yeah? Seems like you've made up for paying to much for it, and can't wait to see when everything is "straightened out", lol.

thanks yeah hopefully by summer, and this week im gettin a few goodies for the car

lil update with pics

got an engine bay pics, just noticed no power steering sucks, took the car for a spin, sorry for the dirty bay gotta do a wire tuck one day

the replacement fender my buddy switched with me how kind, use to have fender flares mite decide going this route not sure

so today i attempted to take my rear bumper off to do some fittings with the new rear origin bumper but it didnt go well because that one f ukn bolt under the cover on top of the exhaust was chewed up that held onto the rear support bar, so it was a bi tch

and a fu kn hanger that broke that keeps banging on my exhaust! soo rusty

Hell why do u think you paid to much? You got a 240 with a running sr with a lot of goodies for only 3k. You can get a shell for 300 maybe less and swap all the parts over and then u will have a mint s13. Your interior is flawless..

By the way why would you sand and primer the car without repairing the damage first.
