Post

Hi everybody,

I just recently got a Christmas Present from my parents, which is a black 240sx convertible. I got home from work on the 28th of Dec, and my parents pointed to the garage. I went there and got a huge surprise!

My previous cars owned was:

Red 90' CamryBlack 94' Toyota CelicaGreen 92' Lexus SC400White 89' Toyota Corolla GTS (first stick I've owned)

The car is in ok condition. I recently had a new aluminum radiator put in it along with some ngk spark plugs. Thats pretty much it. The convertible top is in fair condition, and interior upholstery needs work. Speakers and radio works excellent though.

I need to buy an interior trim, which is pictured. Does anybody know where I can get the plastic trim circled?...Right now, there is unsightly speaker wires and chasis showing.

BTW-Car pictured is NOT mine. Its just a reference photo.

welcome to the club! is your panel completely missing or just in bad condition. these are hard to match up a lot of times and you can fix them/ reshape simply by heating.

Whats up guys...Sorry I haven't been able to respond. I have been working and school and you guys know the deal. Anyways, to the point. Its night time here...and pics suck at night. I'll def take some when the sun is out.

1- I still have the GT-S...(its white and never been repainted. all original with 73k miles. My dad drives that one now. It kicks in 1st and 2nd alot, but when I give it alot of gas, it runs ok...any body know wth this is?

2- The car overheated on a test run around the block. I had to take out the thermostat...and then it was ok. Will my car run ok w/o it?...any neg effects?

3- I just did my first 2 mods. One, a sleepy eye mod, and 2, tinting out the back amber and white lights. I'll post pics asap. Yes, I know this thread sucks w/o pics...so hang tight!

4- The rear panel is completely missing. I need to get a new one...perhaps maybe stop by an auto junkyard...or buy it from one fine registrant here! lol

you're not going to find a vert in the junkyard. ask look in the classifieds. as far as the thermo... does it get cold where you live. its ok to run without one not gonna hurt anything. just i wouldn;t if you live where it's cold. helps the engine get up to temp faster is all. which also is good if you want your heat to come on faster. im in Florida tho, i dont really need a thermo but i always put one in anyways.

Ok...ok...here are a couple of pics. I didn't say they were good ones...they are from my sister's phone cam...so bear with me!...

I might black them out again with the extra vinyl which I bought for 5 bucks at rvinyl.com...like i said, "might" haha...but so far, what do you guys think?...I would choose the jspec s13 lights with white/red, but this isn't so bad on a budget~!
