greetings all. i just purchased a 2004 G35 6MT sedan with 27k miles for $22k from a reputable used car dealer round the corner. It has the leather performance package, sucky bose stereo and pretty much everything but nav. I paid another $1500 and have good warranty through 4 yrs or another 60k miles. Used to own a 78 280z and a 98 sentra se, so am pretty much a fan although having cup holders in front of the stereo controls (sentra) is a bad idea. I love the new car and am having a blast at getting out in front from stop lights and on the highway. I'm 44, so am not too crazy, but rather an experienced hog who knows when to juice it. . Am going to convert to synthetic oil as suggested here and perhaps even the spacer for a few more horses. . My one beef is that every morning the back window is very fogged up inside and out suggesting some kind of H20 infiltration althou i can't detect any dampness inside. None of the other cars in my drive exhibit such problems. Any suggestions

Congratulations on your new G35! Regarding your window fogging up, do you have your air in recirculation mode (if so, switch to fresh air mode)?

Also, maybe consider the in-cabin microfilter? The following is from the 2007 G35 Sedan manual (don't know about previous years' G35s):

The filter should be replaced if air flow isextremely decreased or when windows fogup easily when operating heater or air conditioningsystem.

One more thing... FYI, I used to have a Volvo that had a slow coolant leak, and my windows fogged up quite easily due to the leak.

Welcome to NICO!! and Congrats on picking up such a sweet ride!!

There is a wealth of information here. There is also articles on removing and cleaning the filter if you want to give that a try to see if that helps with fogging. It's in the "Sticky" thread near the top of the forum.

Post some pics of her when ya get a chance!
