hey... I know that car...

I've seen it advertised for sale in the past.

Does your uncle use the name Bigdaddyweave or something like that?

Anyhow.. congrats on a beautiful car.

I'm not too far away from you, so if you ever want to get together and talk shop about 'verts, let me know.

I'm in Green Bay.

Catch you later.

those are B15 wheels. From a Sentra Se-R spec V.

I used to have a set on my Spec V. Then I had a set on my S14. They are pretty sharp, but the offset is too high to really look good on a RWD car.

My opinion: Your uncle is asking too much for the car... especially from a family member! Still no bids on the car and only 1 hour left at this time... Besides, I thought the family connection was a mandatory discount... just my .02...

$7K is the LEAST he'll accept?

Someone needs to invite "ucle" in here and explain to him that convertible 240's are typically overpriced.

Show him what a new set of door panels costs.

The SR swap doesn't add much value, unfortunately. Even if that car is perfect (which I guarantee the interior isn't), it's worth no more than $5K.

I agree. If the car is clean and the conversion is flawless and the engine is in perfect condition and the wiring was done perfectly, I'd say 5k is a max price too. If the car has very low miles on it, it may be worth a little bit more, but not too much. Your uncle should be "hooking you up", not taking advantage... again, just my .02.

I dunno about that I'm sure he has more than $7k in it, and it is a nice clean car, so I can't blame him for trying to get back a little bit of his money.book value for verts in near perfect condition is still 4-5,000... SR swap is still 2500 and up... professional install, 5 speed swap, anotether $1000 if you have it done at a shop....

the sad part is that most custom/aftermarket stuff, does not add to the blue book price....

but again, value is only what someone is willing to pay for it

aftermarket stuff adds to the value if you are selling to someone that will pay for it. Dealers TELL you that it doesn't, but go to a used car dealer and notice how much over book they ask for um... fox body mustands with catbacks and aftermarket wheels, or cavaliers with 18's and a body kit.

wow we are so far OT....
