Hey everyone, im new to the forum but have been lurking for a while and all you seem like a pretty helpful, chill crowd so im stoked to be here i have a n 07 versa SL sedan black. this is my first car and I love it and ive had a few minor problems with it but as of now my ride is working and perfect w/ 5,6** miles. i have some stuff in my v, an aem cai, dc strut bar, and some oznium lights. soon to come will be tint and some tanabe springs. i spent 5 1/2hours washing, vacuming, and waxing my v (black paint takes work ha) so ill try to post pix up as soon as i can/wen im not workingas for the emblem idea i want to shave off the emblems BUT re-locate them and heres my really bad photoCHOPany opinions on that? i think it looks pretty rad, is there a shop where i can go to get them aligned perfectly? if i eyeball it itll look like the leaning tower...thanks!!!

once again stoked to be here

That is a good idea. I'm trying to image what it would look like on the back of a hatchback.

the "versa" letters have an adhesive backing but i think the actual "nissan" emblem has holes i pulled it slightly out and it seems that part of it is going into the trunk, but ill probably just go to a body shop and have them fill in the holes and paint it. any suggestions on how to align the emblems straight?glad u guys like the idea i think it would look a lot better that way

There have been several members that have "debadged" their V's and from what I've read there aren't any holes anywhere.

Yes.

As did most of us.

Call me crazy, but hasn't someone done this before, like a year plus ago?

try using tape to set up the baseline if you're going to do it yourself.

Look for UnDu.... won't damage the adhesive, just take your time (especially with the scrapper, some on here have had technical difficulties with it)

Also, you'll want some sand paper to remove some of the silver finish, any color of Krylon Fusions (I recommend a color similar to the end result or just pick your color from their line - I use it as a base because it includes the plastic primer), and then the desired color and some wheel clear to finish her off... I recommend the wheel clear because it holds up so much better.

No you are pwned, I know it wasn't a typo since I live in the greater LA area. He lives in Oxnard, I decided to say he lives in Oxnerd in an attempt to be a joke . . . it's ok you wouldn't understand lmfao
