Hi everyone,

Just joined a few minutes ago and I all ready have a question. My wife's 2005 Murano needs front brake pads. Do I need any special tools besides the piston compression tool to do the job.

I am used to working on vw's and know that the rear calipers need a special tool but not the front. any help would be apprecieated.

If you have a large C-clamp, that's all you need to compress the front caliper pistons.

I have yet to do my brakes (I have only 64K on my Mo) but since the parking brake is a drum style, I'm pretty sure you don't need the compression tool for the rears either.
