I have been a member since 2004/5 but don't post much. Can't remember my user name but I still have my car and I still read a lot.

Long story short my car has sat in my garage for almost 15 years. Recently I was laid off and decided time to do some hobbies.

I have a good bit of parts on order and will be rereading all things for the millionth time.

I have mostly been driving trucks boosted or not. I like the turbo temp and the engine temp. Haven't seen much mentioned here or other 240 forums.

Is that something you guys worry about?

On diesels it's imperative.

I will start low boost and eventually rebuild or blow this engine and go bigger.

List of parts for my car

.60/.63 t3 hybrid
Apexi Neo
Injectors undecided
Wastegate undecided
Bov undecided
Top mount cast mani
Wideband direction undecided
Sr20 ic pipe
Fmic
Egr delete

I'm sure there is more

Any thoughts?

My name is Shaun and it's awesome to be able to post again. Haha :)

Hey whats up shaun!?! Welcome back to the posting life hahaha. I personally run oil pressure, water temp, and oil temp gauges to monitor whats going on with my engine. With the neo, from what I remember max injector size is 150%. So I believe the biggest injector you can run will be a 550cc. The S15 silvia injectors are 480cc and you can scoop those up pretty cheap if you're going low boost. Once of the things you really can't skimp on is the wastegate. That can break your motor quicker than hell if it fails. I would go with a tial 44mm wastegate. It's bigger than what you need, but you can easily grow into it. Plus its a one and done purchase. If you go with a 38mm then you'll potentially outgrow it relatively easy. BOV is all personal preference. HKS is a really popular one, and I've ran one for years. However I just switched my setup to a tial BOV. Hope this info helped, and its great to have you back!

It does. I got rid of the neo and ordered MSPNP2. Expensive bastard but I was told I wouldn't limit myself with future upgrades.

Local tuning shop recommended tial. Anyone have bov or wastegate lying around. I.e. Your hks. Haha thanks man!

Ha sorry I'm using the HKS on something else, and I haven't outgrown any 44mm's yet. Nice try! I'm sure you'll like that unit a lot better than the neo, and it even has a built in map sensor if I remember correctly. No more MAF to deal with!
