hey guys , continuing my research before i consider buyin g a 2007 HR 6 speed 350,

i’ve read about the oil galley gaskets and the TOB issues

this car was lady owned and commuted highway miles

should i avoid this as a daily driver ? i’d assume if there were galley gasket issues they would of been issued before 190k? i’ve yet to go see the car , any info is appreciated

i was told the de? motor is better ? i thought they had oil burning issues or is it just the 06 high rev?

That's a lot of miles. Unless it's an extremely low price AND you have service records, I would pass. You can't have it both ways. I bought my 350z with 75k miles and it had no records but the low miles proved the car to be in excellent shape, takes track abuse like a champ, nothing has broken other than a bad coil.

My 2005 sits at 214,000 Miles, and still runs like a champ as it did at 55k (purchased 2007).

The HR is more refined, but if it does need new galley gaskets then you might want to avoid the car unless like what brax said..its a super good deal. One way to check is to see what the oil pressure gauge sits at on idle after warmed up.

According to Nissans FSM: once warmed up, it shouldn't be any lower than 14 psi, anything lower you will have to look into.
