Bring it? Bring it? Are you serious? Like I am going to travel my a** all the way to NY just to embarass you. 19 more hp isn't a big deal when you are arguing stock for stock, but being on the negative side my cai adds 5 hp (being negative) and the lightweight flywheel increases my acceleration as well.
So lets do the math.My car--------------------------------------------Your carmanual (less drivetrain hp loss)------------Auto (more drivetrain hp loss)CAI, lightweight flywheel--------------------3 brands of tiresLighter weight---------------------------------Heavier287 hp 274 tq (stock)------------------------306 hp 268 tq (stock)
Couldn't seem to find stock 1/4 mile times for an auto so I won't compare those.
But one more thing to look at. On average hp loss through the drivetrain on an automatic is 23% on a manual its 17.3%. So lets do the math, remember this is on average.
306hp minus drivetrain loss equals 235.62 whp292hp minus drivetrain loss equals 241.484 whp (added 5 hp for my cai)without cai 287hp = 237.349whp
So even without any modifications whatsoever a manual VQ35DE on average will have more whp than an auto VQ35HR 350z. Also you must consider that even if they were the exact same package....auto transmissions usually weigh anywhere from 75-150lbs more.
So in summarizing car for car with the same driver.....your car will be pwned by just about any other 350z out there, leaving out the roadsters due to them being so much heavier.
