For that price, I don't think you can go wrong with it ...

It looks pretty damn decent too, and it even has a EGT port already.

I had one of these, they are the same crap ssac sells on ebay. My exhaust flange wasnt even flat. They spend no time at all finishing up their products. Just because Megan puts their name on it doesnt mean its worth a crap. After looking at it and thinking i sold it for 90 bucks shipped and got a good one.

Oh and that thing you called an egt port is actualy ment to be an EGR.. They put that in to try to get it OBD2 legal..

The also have been known to crack. I think you can go wrong for that price, because if you factor in the annoyance of having to take your exhaust manifold off because its cracked and needs welding, its not worth it. If your going to cheap out, do it right and get a cast, log style manifold. You will never regret it, it will never give you any problems, and its not expensive for what you get.

For $100 worth it to deal with headache. But not $200.

I don't know I can have the exhaust mani unbolted and off the KA in under an hour.

As for welding it when it cracks who cares no big deal. Now as for the turbo flange not being flat not that big of a deal too.

I will agree with you on one thing, if you want one of the bolt on and go never really have to worry about it then like 480 said, get a cast, log style manifold.

I for one don't mind a little DIY and having fun with it heh. Like I said for that price I'm willing to have fun with it.

I got a similar one but for an RB right now. haven't tested it out yet but hopefully soon ..

dude that looks exactly like the ebay mani's! And for that price, it's most likely made overseas..

Now that i see those manifold designs place your turbo close to the mc, I realize how important turbo placement is..I wouldn't buy this mani, but if you decide to buy it make sure this thing isn't the same stuff you can get on ebay for the same quality.

btw, how did your dp go? Or your whole turbo project?

With the turbo, downpipe, oil fittings, and everything else involved its more than a simple hour.. Then you gotta put it back on.

Also, not many people have access to a welder, or the know how to use one.

Im just a believer in doing things right the first time. In the end, the extra money spent adds to the reliability of your car, and having a reliable car saves you cash.

When i said flange, i didnt mean the turbo flange, that doesnt mater at all. Im talking about the exhaust flange, the piece that bolts up to your heads. Thats what wasnt flat, and that needs to be flat.
