Just purchased new Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires on Saturday. Had some crappy Nexens on there from time of purchase (lasted 40k, but had serious tramlinig issues). I have to say the Contis are a breath of fresh air; quieter, smoother, no tramlining issues. If you need new tires, I recommend these. We'll see how good they hold up, but from other posts and ratings, these look to be winners. Pretty expensive at $192 per, but what they hey, it's a 55k vehicle...

That's what I'm running right now. Nice, sticky tires. I will be looking for new tires within the next two months though as these do wear a bit fast (about 30K on this set, might get 40K out of them). Handle great, fairly quiet and great dry and good wet traction.

The DWS is an outstanding TIRE (meat?!) for the M. They are inexpensive compared to the other top brands. They will not last as long as I'd like-but due to their characteristics they are worth it. Apparently the DWS 2.0 (higher load rating) is due out soon.

I think I have the 2.0, but can't be sure. Stock was unavailable 2 weeks ago and said discontinued, then they had them... I doubt it says 2.0 on the tire . BTW - the tires are warranted for 50K
