New maxima owner. Question about nissan connect

Just got a new maxima and am having trouble with the connect system. I know there's different levels, but I cannot get my car to connect to the app or whatever. Everytime I go on the app and enter the Vin number it tells me it can't connect vehicle at this time and to try again. Any advice is appreciated
