Absolutley a photoshop. Not even close to a true design nissan would ever use for the Maxima. Its brand named the "4DSC" or Four Door Sports Cars. It would never be a coupe. Especially a Mercedes SLR version

I'm suprised that Nissan used the Altima to compete w/ the Civic and Accord Coupe. I thought that they'd make a Maxima coupe.

I think that "technically" the A/C and sedan are made to compete with the accord coupe and sedan. I think nissan should do some work on the sentra and sentra se-r to make it more of a competitor to the civic coupe and sedan.

but in reality, it's usually 2.5 a/c vs. civic si and 3.5 a/c vs. v6 accord coupe.

if it were a coupe... the front is too long and i think the roof sits too high... there's too much to the body kit to me!

New phones drop all the time, and verizon/alltell/at&t reps know nothing of it til late..lol so its possible stuff can happen with nissan that the "employees" know nothing of. But that there is a photoshop. why would they use the same pix from the release of the sedan to get buzz for a coupe?

that picture is really old. I think it was mcehddi who did the photoshop when he said that if the maxima was shorten it would kinda look like the 370z.

Well what;s the difference between a Maxima sedan and the G sedan - both of which are real products.

The Max is on the same platform as the Altima if Im not mistaken so the main difference between the G is the drivetrain layout - long mounted engine and RWD.

Actually I would have thought Nissan would have done an Maxima coupe instead of the Altima coupe. But I don't see them doing both.

yeah i agree, but in reality nissan need to stop the whole 4dsc stupidity. Maxima evolved into a completely non sports car status. Last 2 generations, included the current one, are more focused on luxury interior and comfort rather than being sporty. Take the new generation of maxima, even with the sports package, which adds absolutely nothing sporty. Suspension isn't sporty, still FWD, regular sized rotors and brakes, doesn't even come in m/t ffs. 4dsc is a lie.
