So, i was just in class and looking through M45 listings and came across an 06 M45 sport with journey package and DVD screen, black on black, with 12k miles on it. went to the dealer and after driving it, i decided to pull the trigger. loved the car when i drove one two years ago but couldn't justify spending that much on one back then. was happy with the price this time. just need to tint it and get a lip spoiler and i'm all set.

Wow! Nice find and welcome! How much did you end up paying for the car if you don't mind saying?Man....it has such low mileage....unbelievable!Did you get the Elite Ext. Warranty yet?I think "ALL" Sport models need the aerodynamics package added all the way around. They look so much better that way. IMO

came out to 27.5k for the car and since it only had 12k on it when i got it, i figured it was fine without the extended warranty since the original one transfers over. The car was originally purchased in november of 06 giving me a little under 2 years for the bumper to bumper and 4 for the powertrain so i'm happy with it. wish it did come with the aerodynamic package but the only one around here that had one had 60k miles on it. i want to get 20% all around just like i had on my Altima. was hoping for gray or silver with a black interior but black looks sexy as well. if i can find the kit then i'll get it but it's fine for now. here's pics of the old car, might have seen it around chicago. really wanted to keep it but don't have the money for both. was a fun car and will be missed. might pick up an altima in the future if i can find one cheap.

Not bad deal overall. The first two things I thought when I looked at the car have been addressed already...it needs tint and the aero package to complete the look.

20% might be a bit dark though. I have 15% on mine (that it came with) and I am eventually going to have it switched out toe something lighter so I don't stick out to the cops.

When you get the aero kit you will be amazed by how different the car looks. When I park next to another M without the kit, they look like 2 completely different cars. Then again, I am probably a little biased.

Your not biased....I think your 100% correct! The Aero pkg makes the M's in my opinion...especially the Sport models....that should automatically come with the aerodynamics package from the factory as an included feature to the Sport model selection. It only makes sense....but then again, it's made in Japan....I'm sure they have their own "unique" way of thinking.......
