Hello all,

I, as of yesterday, am a new (used) M45 owner.
Just picked up a 07 black/burbon with every option except rear dvd. It will be delivered next week.

The original owner was an older lady, who seemed to take great care of the car, except for the wheels. lol.

I did not get any maintenance records, but supposedly everything is up to date. Only thing I know is an oil change and brake pads were just done.

Also, the belts are cracking.

Before anyone flames me about the "search" feature, I have been searching like crazy, and have been able to find some of the information I seek, but am just running out of time, and want to get a bunch of service done with my mechanic asap. I am working 80 hours/week the next few weeks, and am hoping someone already has this info complied, and can save me hours of additional searching.

My mechanic will do all of the work (he is a great guy) and advised me to just purchase all supplies online to save some money.

The following is a list of what I would like to do right away. For those of you in the know, please help me identify:
a. part numbers
b. additional parts required for the service, ie. gaskets, new drain plugs, new bolts, etc.
c. quantity required
d. Any sites that offer good deals would be much appreciated.

1. Replace belts (is there just a drive belt in this car? or a separate power steering belt or something)
2. Transmission fluid drain and fill
3. Differential drain and fill
4. Coolant drain and fill
5. Replace cabin air filter
6. Replace seat air filters
7. Replace radiator cap
8. Power steering fluid drain and fill

The car has 80k miles, so I think I am safe waiting on the spark plugs for now. The car will arrive this week, and I would like to have this work done soon, as I am hoping to keep this car for a long time. I like the looks, but love the interior, drive-ability and features (at least from the 30 minutes or so I have driven one similar).

Thank you in advance to all that post, the sharing of knowledge on the internet is one of my favorite things about the internet.

Oh, and any additional maintenance I should consider, please let me know.

Thanks!!

Welcome to the site.

Hate to say it, but search...that's what everyone else is going to have to do since that information isn't at the back of everyone's mind.

Simple thing to do?

1) Go to/call your parts store...they'll have the belt numbers and filter numbers. And even the spark plugs numbers. Or you can go to their websites and search for all of the parts and get the brand part numbers for everything and then search Google for the cheapest place (that's how I do it).
2) In your owners manual, all of the fluid capacities and viscosities are listed in the maintenance section.

InfinitiPartsUsa.com seems to be a good site price wise...but I usually use Amazon due to Prime...quick shipping and pretty good prices if not the lowest.

For starters, go to the How To & FAQs section to find parts links:
1. how-to-change-your-belts-2006-07-m45-t592214.html

5. how-to-replace-in-cabin-air-filter-06-0 ... 39889.html

6. howto-replace-front-seat-filters-t571510.html

Would also recommend looking on Fleabay for cheap OEM Infiniti parts - Circle Infiniti often has some pretty good deals on parts.
May want to look at my classified ad on some M45 parts

Congrats on the car, I loved mine!!!!
