Hi all!

I just picked up a 2006 M35, and shifter console light is out, so I tried replacing the bulb with a new #74 bulb. The weird thing is,
the bulb was indeed blown, but there seems to be nothing for the little black connector with yellow wires to connect to.

Am I missing something? Nothing under the center console area seems to be a connector that belongs to the plug.

Thanks!

JT

It's possible the light is soldered in place and is a tiny LED? Did you take the shifter assembly apart?

It's a 74 bulb. I did have the console removed while trying (in vain) to install my grom kit. The weird part is, that the connector that's attached to the shifter console has nothing connected to it.

Ahh okay, sorry misread/misunderstood.

Have you referenced the FSM? It might have a diagram for the shifter which would help you narrow down where that harness goes. Check the FAQ thread in my signature for that info.
