New M35 owner!

Hi All, I been lurking on the forums and received a bunch of good information before making my purchase. Thanks to all of you I finally picked up my black 2008 M35 Sport with 56k miles with Technology pkg. I am from NY and this car was very hard to Track down, it was impossible finding a used 08 ~10 sport on the east coast. Lucky me I found one 400 miles away in NH and took the drive up with my brother in my 02 3.5 Altima, one of the reasons I also decided on the m35 due to the bullet proof engine long term reliability. Coming from owning a E36 M3 and the E39 5 series which was constent problems. This car showed me the grass is much greener on the other side.

I love this car and will post pics soon. The cars is currently going in for a full paint correction detail job. The infinti paint seems very prone to scratching easily so I wanted to give the car full pamper treatment. Looking forward to speaking with you all. Thanks again!!!

Welcome to NICO, I'm Vince and I purchased a 2008 pearl white M35S last year in late March. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!! I know you will too. I'm starting to notice small defects in the paint so I will also get a touch up for my ride. ENJOY!!!

Thanks everyone, luckily when I purchased the car I was still under basic warranty. I will say I'm anal when keeping up with the car and maint. So I took advantage of the warranty. So far Infiniti has fixed the following for free.

New ds headlight, full replacement due to noisy actuator
New sway bar links and bushings
New rear deck sub, this did not fix the bass rattle...so annoying
New rotors, shimmy while braking

Now this is something that bugs me. I have this rattle where the front dash meets the Window...dealer told me its the cowl and they applied some felt tape tunder the cowl. It seem to quiet things down for a little but came back...does anyone know what this problem is? Drives me crazy!!!!
