Hi everyone, my name is Will and I am also a new member to the forum. I have had my M35 for nearly three years now, but never joined here for whatever reason. I have used the forum for information before (like replacing my burned out fog lamp) and have found it very helpful, so I am very happy to be a member here now! Also, Larz, recently, I have read a lot of your posts about DRLs, and have seen our Flickr and your Ms are gorgeous.

BlackCat81, you work on Larz's cars for him? If so, do you know what brand/where he got his roof lip spoiler?? That is sweet and I want one!!! :)

Will V, welcome to the club. We're happy you found this place useful and finally decided to sign up :).

In the future though, please create your own 'Hey guys!' intro thread as to not take the op's one off-topic. I've split the topic. Also, if you could, please update your profile to show your general geographic location. Thanks! :chuckle:

Sorry Ilya... Had no idea :frown: I just figured that less threads would be desired by administrators, but I was wrong :/ Anyway, so if I have a question, I should start a new feed? (obviously unless someone has already asked it and it has been solved)

Hey man, no problem...I understand. Generally, if it's a topic that will benefit everyone I prefer information related to that to be in one thread. When it's threads that are very personal...such as build threads or introduction threads, I prefer that each member start their own. We don't need 1000 threads about oil...but 1000 threads of people saying, "This is my ride!" is more than acceptable. I hope that makes sense...and no hard feelings :)

So I have a question about my struts, and I could not find a thread that pertained to my case. However, I admittedly have absolutely no idea how to use the search bar with all of the weird commands

So do you think I should start a new one? Thanks.
Will

Just click on "Search this forum..." at the top of the main forum page for this model car and type in 'strut noise' or some other term(s) and it'll get you all of the results that match and highlight your searched for words for you.
WillV wrote:I also do not know why the word "struts" is in blue as a link..
Certain words are highlight blue by the system and link to ads for such words...like intake, spark plug, etc.

If you look in the FAQ thread under my signature, you'll see a guide on how to do that.

Or you can do this and use the guide above.
