1. Usually on M's, when you start them, all the gauges max out as the engine starts but for some reason mine doesn't do this. Is there any reason why?

2. Is there a way to clear out all previous data set in the Navigation such as stored places? Also, it seems as the car thinks that the default location is set to California. Anyway to change that to set it up for my location?

3. The bluetooth isn't recognizing my phone. I know the bluetooth on my phone is set correctly, but is there something in the car that I am suppose to setup correctly?

4. There is an indicator that comes on while on the highway in the engine temperature gauge which looks like ( ! ) with .... underneath it. What is this?

#1 I'm not sure on. I've got a 2004 (so the below info may not be dead-on).

For #2, yes there is a way to change where the NAV thinks home is. It is in the menus. It may take a bit to find but you can also erase stored locations.

#3 From your description, it seems it is a tire presure warning. I think if you look in your operation menus in maintenance, you'll probably also see that your tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is not registering pressures for each tire. You may need to have the dealer re-register them with their magic wand.

The owners manual will describe the warning light and the DVD manual will tell how to erase prior locations.

Welcome on btw....

#1 I believe there is a setting? I don't remember exactly, but I do know the glow rings can be turned off & adjusted.

#2 There is a TOTAL wipe out option somewhere. It erases everything from the previous owner. I performed this function before selling my M35.

#4 Use your Obama tire gauge to check tire pressures
