Im new to the forum, and rightfully the new owner of this 1981 long bed bronzed copper 720 datsun. This truck was recently given to me by the original owners. the only problem is, it has been sitting for the last 15 years. Im still waiting for the keys in the mail, to turn it on. im sure it's going to be a challenge to get her started again, but definitely a fun challenge. I dont plan on keeping it stock like this, im planning on dropping the engine and transmission and either upgrading to a ka24 or sr20. still unsure of what engine, since this is my first datsun, and first truck rebuild. any suggestions on a good easy engine swap? im not looking for something too crazy, i just want to build a daily commuter, with a little bit of turbo. thank you all
