Well today I received a huge box from Sopdadope. Inside....rare chrome outlined ICHIKOH taillights and center garnish! I've done some buffing on them...and will spend a few more hours doing so, but they look awesome! They seem to have an odd 2-layered lens for the brake lights. Anyways...here are some pics as they are right now. I'll get some more pics later when they are installed!

Yea...I do beleive so, but according to Sopdadope they are a rare chrome trimmed version. Either way....I'm happy as hell about them. I got the center garnish installed...and I'm running into an issue with the tail lights. The '94 accord uses 1 brake light bulb instead of 2 brake like bulbs! I guess I can deal with that lame "stop lamp inoperative" blurb on the screen of the dash.

Beleive me...I'm just as confused as you. Anyways...I've figured out the light bulb issues. I just put the '91 Q45 light fixtures, the thing in which the bulbs are attached to, into the (apparently standard) '94 Q45 tail light housings. Voila...no "Stop Lamp Inoperative" foolishness. :D

Well...the change-over to the new lights is complete! It really adds a classy touch to my car. The bottom of the lights and center garnish stick out a little from the bumper due to the design change of the bumpers...but its hardly noticable. Oh and in these pics, please pardon the spoiler. Its going away soon. I have posted too many images in this thread...so you shall have to click on the links below...

old lights 1 new lights 1 old lights 2 new lights 2 center garnish comparison

Well done, Mr. Trexler.

When you say "the spoiler is going away soon", you mean you are putting it in a 55-gallon drum, dousing it with gasoline and setting it on fire? Or tossing it out into the freeway during rush hour? :D

Or how about filling it up with gasoline (it *IS* hollow) and setting it ablaze. Perhaps I could find someone with a big wood-chipper and......

Wonder how big the holes will be in the trunk?

Seems like you could steer the car with it if it had vertical rudders.

But wait...I am sure that wing was carefully designed and tuned to add just the right amount of gradual downforce as high-speeds increase!
