Due to the recent demise of my Volk GT-7's, Im looking for a new set of wheels. I know that I want them to be 18", and preferably as light as possible. My budget is around 1000 for the wheels, and so far I've been looking pretty hard at the gram lights. If anyone has any ideas/suggestions I would appreciate it.

tire rack has grams, ssr's and tracklites for a bit over a grand for a set but a heck of a lot less than 1800? for that matter you could get custom CCW's for 2200!

I just found the gram light 57fs for $999 for a set of four, Im planning to order this week. Im planning on lowering the car .8" with eibach springs, so I'm worndering what size (width) wheel will still clear. Any ideas?

I mistyped, onelessissue had quoted 2800 which si what I meant to type

as for fit, how wide of a tire do you want? and what diameter of wheel do you want? with the right offset you can fit a lot of tire under there

if you absolutely want light-weight get some Volk CE28n's they are only 16lbs for a 18x8.5 -- thats 4lbs less than the gramlights 57F, but they're like 2500$US and they have been discontinued so there are very few places that sell them --

but if you can get the gramlight's for that price, go for it

i have enkei rpo3's the 18 91/2 weighed in at 21 lbs and the 17 81/2 weighed in at 19 ilbs. 1000 for stagger offset ekei racing wheels. do you really want to pay 2000 to save 3 lbs?
