I've been working on changing over all my regular bulbs to LEDs and I just got my 1157 tail light LEDs in the mail. They are A LOT brighter then regular incandescent bulbs. Here is a few night shots:

Here are the LEDs installed...brakes applied:

Here is a comparison shot - left tail light is the LEDs, right is incandescent bulbs - running lights -

Here is a shot of the red LEDs I used...two pair:

I'm going to order the LED turn signals this week. I already have the LED turn signal relay (flasher). My number plate LED bulbs are in the mail and I should get them in a week or so...oh, and I'm ordering a 921 LED bulb for the center brake light.

Nice....how much did that run you? I've always felt my lights are too dim since switching to the clear taillights.

I paid $16.50 per pair. I got them from....well....from an eBay vendor. Other LED websites wanted about that for each one...maybe the quality is better from other websites but these look to be pretty well built. Here is the link:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...51384

I'll post up again when I get some more LEDs installed .

I'm also going to order some Does that same vendor sell the LEDs for the spoiler light, indicators and reverse?

Also, how appropriate is it that shipping to me is exactly $2.40

I think shipping to everyone is $2.40. It's nice to have reasonable shipping on an eBay purchase for a change!

I think Loki is referring to the "240" coincidence. Say if I tell them it is 180sx, would my shipping be $1.80???? LOL

Cool lights - what type of Flasher gizmo do you have to install to make LED signals work??

I also just did this. I replaced all my bulbs with LEDs. Id post up pictures but my car is stripped so i have no power going to them. But looks good. Now you can blind people with your brake lights

lol...I wondered if anyone would notice...I was at work, I work nights by myself, so I used a broom handle wedged between the seat and pedal. Mystery solved...lol.

So if you don't get that relay flasher your LED turn signals wont blink? Is that how it works?

Turn signal will blink really fast. Have you noticed turn signal blinks fast if one of the bulbs go out? Just like that.

You want 1157. Use this guide for other bulbs. Search 'Red LED 1157' on eBay. You will find what you want.

man....I dunno about you guys but...I got these and they're just as bright as the normal bulbs from autozone. I installed them the same day I put my clear taillights on and didn't notice a big difference at all.

I ordered a pair in red to try them out and waiting a long time for them and ended up not as great as I thought.

The name of the seller I got all my 1157 and 1156 LEDs from is warden_jp2002.

Here is a link to the bulbs I use: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories\

As for some of the other LEDs, if they are not high power they won't be as bright. I had some of those 18 or 20 led bulbs but they were dimmer then reg. bulbs, but these high powered LED's are brighter.

http://www.superbrightleds.com is your friend. I bought some leds for my instrument cluster. But i bought the single led instead of multiple so its not bright. They have so many products for our cars, take a look.

Yeah they have quality stuff. I got my LED relay (flasher) from them. I've also bought a few pairs of led's from them as well. Going to buy there T1.5 leds for my dash lights and going to get some of there NeoWedge leds for the switch lights and HVAC.

T1.5

NeoWedge
