so this is what i got off of ebay..this is how they look when its light out. they are SE gaugesand then when they are on... the color is a lil more distinct but thats the best i could do with my camera.i like them and it only took like 5 minutes and 10 bucks.

glad to see all the positive feedback..

the LED's are not really brighter but still very visible when driving in the dark. also on trips and even just in town, they are way easier on your eyes. plus i just wanted red and some LED's i love LED's haha. im going to do the rest of my interior in red LED's too. except for the dome light.

Just do an "ebay" search for "*COLOR* 194 LED" Replace "COLOR" with the color of your choice... you will get good results

Edit: I think there are either 6 or 8 bulbs you will need... Im thinking 6

You need three for the S14 clusters.

Only three for the S13, 5ish if you have the digital cluster. I have pics of white and blue in my car if you're inerested.

OP, jesus man clean your cluster! Turn your head out the window when you sneeze!

As the original poster already said. LED's don't seem to be brighter, I bought some eBay ones that were "white" which turned out to be a pale blue. Very splotchy and dim compared to the OEM stuff - and yes these were wide angle "made for gauges" LED's. They've all burned out by now, and I'm not going down that route every again!

Bulbs for brighter and clearer light, LED's for color . Nice gauges though - 15 minutes? Did you find an easier way to pull the cluster out? It took me about 10 mins alone of just trying to carefully pry the bezel out and manuever it around the steering wheel. (didn't want to pull it)

i had to take the cover off of the i guess steering shaft. and then lower the wheel all the way and do a little creative bending. haha but i got good at it cause i mounted my alarm behind my gauges and took a few days so its easy now.

but thanks everyone on the positive feedback.... i also did the gear selector for the auto trans but that is coming out soon so it wasnt worth the pic lol

So quick release hubs for your steering wheel make taking your gauge cluster bezel out 100x easier. I don't care if it looks a little ricey, but the hub actually mkaes the wheel closer to me and is more comfortable than the stock distance imho. Plus, any gayness or rice that may be surrounded around quick release hubs is worth it for the ease of taking out dash pieces, and when you lock your wheel then take it off when you park, people find it a little less tempting to try and steal.

Oh, and OP, looks good...but those blue ones on clawhammers are pretty sick.

for future reference the LEDs from superbrightleds.com burn out quickly and for the White color they actually come out kinda blue. If you really want an LED bulb that will last in your gauges and REALLY look white. Go with PIAA LED wedge bulbs. They are twice the price...BUT, look awesome and last loooonger. I will post pics when I get a chance to take some.

consider yourself lucky my friend.

most of them die or get noticably dull within 6 months. Have seen many with my own eyes do this. Even a set I've had from them lasted 2 months. Anyways, I'm not knocking anyone buying them, heck I bought em because of the price too. But, my PIAAs are no joke. They give off awesome light and no hint of dulling yet at 2 months. Also the color that you expect to see from them are the color you actually get from them.
