Well my name is Caleb and I'm only 16, hence the kiddo reference. I've looked around at some cool builds and ideas on this forum, and finally decided to post something of my own. I've recently gotten my permit and will soon be driving a 720 of my own
Don't worry, I've got some pictures for y'all (sorry for the not so good quality)
So, my grandmother has an '82 Datsun 720 KC Diesel, and yes, she has been the only owner. My grandfather bought it for her as a birthday present back in '82 and she's had it ever since. This being said, it has about 350k+ miles clocked on the odometer due to multiple round trips from Texas to California and also just the daily driving. She hasn't really been driven for a couple of years, but she's started up almost every weekend and boy does she run like a champ. I can't wait to call her my own! All in all, I've just wanted to share my excitement with y'all and see what kind of ideas I could gather up with you guys. I'll be sure to keep this updated if I actually see some interest. Also, sorry for the lack of pictures, but I live rather far from my grandmother so I can't really go over and snap some pictures, but I will try my best to do so the next time I visit. Anyways, I hope to see you guys come along with me on this potentially long journey to making this my best first vehicle ever!
