hey whats up guys, i've been lurking around here for a while now, just getting ideas and what not...

anyways, i finnaly got my 240 after litterally 1 1/2 years of searching. It's a 1990 hatchback, pignose , with 119,000 miles. It has a sohc ( single slammer) ka. She needs a lil work but thats exactly what i want, to be able to work and upgrade it.

Other than the rice steering wheel cover all in all a beautiful starter car. I took note you said you're 16=young driver. Although sr is cool and whatnot how do you know that's what you want? ka dohc's are cheaper and easier to find. unless you want gobs and gobs of power don't settle on a motor just because other people like em. You can relatively (yet reliably) reach good hp with the ka. Not telling you what to do I just suggest do alot of research. And drive a 300 hp car befoe you make up yourmind. Consider things like where the car will be driven hard. drift? drag? autox? Also consider how much money you wanna spend. If you decide you do want a buttload of power and wanna spend $ on the sr then why not go the extra mile and go rb? just take your time a build isn't meant to be concieved and achieved in a small amount of time. Other than that your first 240 makes me jealous
