Well, complete with some ensuing drama, I finally have some new wheels on the Q. For some of you that dont know, I bought a set of OZ Superleggera wheels on ebay, I got them and the offsets were not as listed. Went through some BS from the seller, and returned them.

Its the best thing that ever happened to me, because a week later I found these wheels on ebay. I paid MUCH LESS for these wheels AND tires (tires are brand new BTW) than I did for the superlegerra's without tires....!

So heres whats on the car....

OZ Racing F1

18x8 245-45-18 Offset 3518x9 275-40-18 Offset 45

Tires are dunlop 9000's all around..

The style is still growing on me and Im not sure I like the wheels... For the price, there was no way I coudl say no! Its nice because I wanted something different for my Q, as its always had a very classic silver 6 spoke.. This is DEFINITELY quite different.

The fitment of the package is AMAZING. The 275s do not rub in the rear and its not even that close... If I put a tiny bit more camber in the rear I could probably squeeze a 285 on there... I think 18x9.5s could EASILY fit in the back of the Q, MAYBE 18x10 but thatd be tight... Theres plenty of room on the suspension side and the fender side is about what you want it to be. I dont have any way to measure how much room there is right now, that will come later...

The 245-45-18s come HIGHLY recommended by me over the 245-40s i had on my Q formerly. Not only do they have the PROPER load rating, but the ride is very nice. Right now I have them pumped up to 35 and they dont ride much different than the 235-60-15s I had on my stock wheels. A little firmer, but MUCH nicer than the 245-40s. plus, I think the extra sidewall ofthe 245-45 and 275-40 looks a lot better!

I cant comment yet on how I like the dunlops however so far they seem nice!

IF ANYONE is thinking about getting 18s, get 245-45 over 245-40 or 255-40.... The small difference (.7in) in overall height is so much nicer with the ride. I had both 245-40 and 255-40 and 245-45s ride so much nicer and handle just as well..

So without further delay (i know you probably wont read my babbling anyway) heres some pics. CLICK THUMBNAILS TO ENLARGE

I like them very much. But that is more my personal taste. I DO NOT like a lot of bling! To me the look says more speed/tuner than ghetto, and that is what I am after. Very tasteful!

Well done!

Gotta love the bolt on upgrades. I'm liking them even more today. I'll probably like them better when you get a and if that not going to encourage you, than maybe you can her do it for you:

You realize those are the same wheels I used to have, just different color? Even the sizes are the same, but I put 1" spacers with them. They work on your car, the color and style, but I don't like the yellow lettering, that doesn't go with luxury IMO.

Wes,

I like it! I'm also shopping for staggered 18s for my G50. I agree with Falk that yellow lettering doesn't belong there.

Just simple and very tasteful.

Yes, I got the refund, thanks.

I'm 10 minutes from Carlisle. I had no idea you guys go to this. Are alot of Q's there? Is this the "tuner" show?I have avoided this show. Pretty rowdy crowd....... chicks with no tops, guys doing burn-outs in hotels with bikes, main street drag racing, and the like!I'm to old for that stuff! The style or tuner show has a bad rap with the locals too. Oh well, guess I'm an old fart! (and no I'm not a h0m0!)

good color for DJ2, ditch the yellow, +35 on an 18X8 is THE perfect offset for a G50 imo.

These sport-type wheels look pretty darn good on the G50.

I'm 50/50 depending on business this month and other meets I had planned for May. I might see you there, Rick.

I LOVE BREASTS.

The fit of those wheels on the car is perfect. Right out to the wheel wells. Very nice. Not too fond of the dark wheels on dark car but hey, that's just me. When you find a great deal like you did it's worth it. I run 255/40/17 on the front & 275/40/17 rears on my Q. Nuttin like big tires on a big car.

I would have swore I linked you to those, but anyway ...

They look great, you know I'm digging the rear tread .

The yellow is "eh", but not worth the hassle of changing.
