WOOT! Phase 1 construction is planned to be underway for a new road course in Kansas city!

This is such awesome news! Its gonna open in Spring 2008 and will have a 3.75 mile full circuit track, or they can split it up into a north and south track that are 1.7 and 2.1 miles. Finally there will be a road course close to me.

I didn't even think about looking in the Midwest section as I was so excited when I found out about this.

From what I here on some of the SCCA sites, The track is a private course. You will have to be a paying "member" to have access to it. It won't be a "for rent" track.

If its gonna be a private course, that is gonna suck so bad. I don't have $85k to spend on membership, if I did, I would be driving one kick *** Z32.
