You can use most of the main functions of TunerPro when modifying ka ecus. The map/data manipulation is the main factor, but TunerPro can also be used with a moates ostrich emulator to tune in real time. This is easily possible with ka24e ecus with a single emulator, not sure if TunerPro has dual emulator support (for dohc).
If you want real time monitoring with your pc, such as gauges, tunerpro wont do that. For that you need a consult adapter, which can monitor/datalog/extract/diagnose data via rs232 with the appropriate software.
And yeah, the forum needs some more beginner info, in time.
