I haven't owned a 240 for like 2yrs now, so its been a while.. Funny how I ended up back with a 240.
I had a:
1991 S13 Lowered, Wheels, Exhaust, Intake lol high school days year 2000
2000 Integra LS b18 on boost I don't know what I was thinking
1995 S14 Had this the longest Ka24det 9lbs 290hp, 1jz Sc61, Ems Stand alone 458hp
1997 S14 Silvia Conversion Sr20det, freddy intake, Ems Stand alone 212hp lol didn't get far with this one
2002 Mustang GT Twin turbo 50trim turbo's, tial twin 38mm waste gate, 50mm tial bov, much more.. Sold for 7500 Should've kept it but I needed the money
92 5speed Sc300 20" Sevas, Eibach Springs
92 5speed sc300 Volk Gt7's, coilovers, nice paint job.
1992 240sx Vert rb25det Last car that i sold and parted out... most of the parts are on the current car..

Their were a lot more but these are the more significant ones..

Everyone told me to keep the rb25det but its too much $$$$ if it breaks, one of the reasons I got away from the SC's. They are too much money to mod, especially for me since im a stay at home dad lol. I still make my money though, its just a little harder.

Well this is what I have so far...
Car came with a seized motor.
Bought Engine, 5spd transmission, and accessories for a steal of $350.00 but engine was smoking... Well the guy said a little bit lol. It was a lot. So I took the head off and did a valve job and new seals.
Engine is running good now but I can't get the thing to idle good.
T67 .81 Rear Garret Turbo
4" Core Intercooler
3" Piping
Hks Style 60mm Wastegate
Tial Style Bov
Ems Stinger Standalone (lol my third one!)
2- 3inch Vband kits for the exhaust
1- 3inch down pipe kit Vband
Various Silicones and Clamps

I sold my rb25 so I need to get the rest of the parts
Still need:
I want to make a custom turbo manifold
Oil Lines Feed and drain
Custom Intake Manifold
1000cc Injectors
Fuel pumps
Fuel Rail
Fuel lines
Piping for exhaust and downpipe
Muffler

What do you guys think about the Xcessive intake.. Would I be able to use the factory injectors meanwhile, because it doesn't look like it.
I will probably make the car Coil on plug.. but the distributor might give problems on high rpms with my ECU.. I have to use only the 4 points
on the disc in the dizzy. I will probably put a trigger wheel.

So this is it so far... I will post updates as I go along and more pics on the weekend.. That's really the only time I get to work on the car.

That manifold looks unique, where are you planning on dumping the exhaust? How much power you looking to get outta this thing, looks crazy. Moar pics!

The down pipe will turn and go under the manifold.. there is plenty of room.. I just wanted to make a manifold like the drag cars that I see all the time, and also something easy to work with... Im going for only 300hp for now because the motor is completely stock.. in the future maybe 600+ in that area, turbo is good for that amount of hp. I just finished the intercooler and the piping on the car.. I need to get it running with the kit for a while until I get more money to build the fuel system, clutch... The I will install the ecu and tune it. Maybe c4 automatic or a vg transmission but that is a longs way away lol.

Are you keeping the AC and the PS?? Cause from the looks of things wouldn't the downpipe run through that area?? Either way keep us posted. That ext mani does look nice...

I couldve have left the ac.. but this is not my everday car.. I am building it for drag little by little... I still have a long way to go... The powersteering is still
in there, i need to rotate the little tube that goes to the pump so the hose can fit better where its mounted. I feel like just taking it out though. I dunno.. what do you guys think. I need to remove the damn manifold again because
its warped really bad. So im going to go get it machined flat again. I need to wrap the manifold. Make a shield for powersteering reservoir, and some other things. But I cranked it and not one drop of oil anywhere.. I get happy when things like that happen lol.. It would've been perfect if the manifold was flat but you know how these things go. Im going to take a little break for a few weeks before I get back on the car. I did everything in like 7 days with 2-5 hours each day.

I will wire the standalone once i get a mitsubishi CAS and some coils to wire to the EMS. I think I might go with some ls1 coils.. or some MSD Blaster coils and a 4 channel ignitor running wasted spark.

Then I have to deal with the fuel situation.. My gas tank is rusted really bad, and I need to get another one. I'm going to weld a sump to the bottom of the tank.. Use two bosch 044 fuel pumps and maybe some 1600cc injectors. Im going big because I dont want buy parts over again. I will only boost maybe 12lbs on the stock motor. When I build the engine I will see how much im going to make. I want 600hp whp.... I guess I will get the injectors I need for E85 at that power range.

After that z32 transmission, rollcage, some nitrous, two step... lol if I don't go 2jz first ...

Well, I got it running.. But its running poorly due the the bov thats on there and still having the air flow meter. I need to install my computer and eliminate the crappy wiring. I also changed the back housing to a .68 from the .81 , I had to take the turbo back to the place where I bought it because the compressor blade was hitting the front housing. The guy fixed it right away with a new unit and changed out the housing for free, which was great.. the turbo was originally for a 2jz. I will start working on it more in the next few weeks.. I need a simple fuel setup so I can feel some boost now lol.. I just don't want to waste money on parts that I don't need. I dunno lol. :bigthumb:
