New JSP s14 zenki Carbon fiber hood

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted you guys to have a look at my new JSP S14 zenki carbon fiber hood. JSP has just finished prototyping it and will start making production versions of it. They asked me to start gauging interest on a hood like this and to try to set up some group buys. I didn't want to post this in the GB section just yet as they have yet to give me pricing details.

I've been trying to convince them to make stuff for the S13 and the S14 Kouki as well. Please post if you are interested. That would help them to make up there mind.

So here are some pictures. Let me know what you guys think. The fit is good and the weight savings is at least 50%. The scoop is more subtle looking in real life. The photos seems to accent it.

btw, not to thread jack, but where is that kit from? and how did it fit when you bought it? cuz it looks good from the pics...

haha, well not just yet i'm kinda poor at the moment...but maybe in the near future...also, i wanna know WHERE that kit came from, and if it's importfan/GTP i wanna know if it fit well right off the bat...

JayPat83, you are right that is a nismo 270R replica body kit.

MainEvent212, it fit pretty well, I have had it for 4 years already. I got it put on at a body shop.

As for the JSP hoods, I'm glad there is interest. I will try and get special pricing on them asap and let you guys know the details. And how you can order them.

I'm sorry I don't know exactly where it is from. I got it 4 years ago from an aftermarket shop. I ordered it through them using there own catalog. Sorry I can't help out more. I've seen kits like it now on many sites but don't know which one I have so I can't vouch for anything out there in terms of fitting right away. I wish I could help more.

so where is the wing chubby? your's is the car in their ads. and it has a carbon wing on it. are you tite with JSP? they keep avoiding my Q's about them making a CF trunk for the S14. and now that they are with xr8edlidds i figure they might be making one. you know anything?

oh, well ok...i've been lookin at GTP/importfan but i have heard some horrible testimonials...as well as great ones...so i'm a little unsure

You are right, my car was in their ads at D1 last year and in Superstreet. I removed the wing over the last few weeks. It may be going back on later in the season.

I'm quite close to JSP. It's odd that they are not answering your questions. Usually they would just give a "yes" or "no" answer if they have the application or not.

Xr8edlidds is producing exclusively for JSP now so there will be some great applications coming out this year.

I'll find out about pricing and post for this particular hood.
