Whats goin on guys maybe this kind of post should have been in the northeast region threads but I barely see any posts in there. Any ways strait to the point I'm from the Bronx we moved to a house in Dutchess county. It was the best dont get me wrong but it just wasn't for us and we moved back to the Bronx. Now we miss having a house lol, and since my grandfather works out in woodbridge New Jersey we would like to move out to a nice house but my grandparents talk about property taxes n such. I believe there looking for something in the 5k range im not too sure. Is there anyone here on Nico that is from NJ and can help us with prop tax info and where are some nice places to live *of course we need something with a nice garage *

property tax is handled on a town to town basis. call the tax department of the town you're looking to move to.

Hey how's it going. I like yourself, used to live in the Bronx. My dad actually had a tire repair shop and transmission shop. It's crazy how even shops are allowed to work right on the curb. Where ever you decide to move do your self a huge favor and get to know your neigbors. My neighbors are a real problem when it comes to working on cars. I'd use my garage but it has slowly turned into a storage space, working in my driveway in my town is a big " no no" even working on my car in the paved section of my back yard is forbidden by the town, and enforced by one particular neighbor. It doesn't matter how clean I leave my work area they still submit a complaint. I haven't received a fine yet but they have threatened to do so.
