Just picked up this car via Copart - Charcoal Grey 2012 M56x with about 84000 km's / 52000 Mi's
The only damage is to the front end - airbags weren't deployed as far as I can tell from the pictures.

I've seen somewhere on facebook where folks were talking about a front end - did that include the q50 of just the q70 front end?
And if anyone can point me in the direction of some intact front ends or places that I can order from, that'd be great.

Welcome to the forum. Saw your post on FB.

Only the Q70 front end will work on this car. That being said, most people get most of the parts from the dealer I believe.

Welcome to NICO. Looks like you have yourself a nice project. You can buy pretty much anything at Infinitipartsonline and get actual OEM parts for about half of what dealers charge. It has been my experience (limited) that I saved as much on the few parts that I replaced. You already own an M35 so no need to tell you that when damaged, you can estimate what you 'think' a part would normally cost and then double it, LOL. For example the passenger headlamp. You might think maybe $600 since it has HIDs. But you would be wrong. The dealer will ask about $2,000. A new OEM from Infinitipartsonline lists the factory price at $1,700, but will sell it for $1,300. That's $700 less than the dealer. You will find similar savings on everything, including even bolts. You already know that you might be able to find a matching model at a junkyard with rear-end damage and purchase the entire front end for a little less than any parts place.
Infinitipartsonline has diagrams with all necessary parts outlined and listed by part number so you get a clear idea of what you need.
This will get you started.
