Oh dear lord...I remember those boxes! I did that last weekend! The further back it went, the worse it lined up for me. =( If that's going into a hatch, I can probably help you out by pointing out my screwups.

I really want to do that too, but then I think of all the other things I need $270 for and rule it out. I guess one day I'll just have to buy it on a whim so I don't over think it.

Yeah its going into a hatch... I guess I'll see how my luck holds up which so far hasn't so good with this car, but is't got to change sometime... right?

I'll probably do this with my S14 at some point next year, new black carpet and matching black floor mats.

Throw up some pics of the finished product when you get it all installed.

If i ever pull the stock carpet out of my hatch, there will be no carpet going back down.

the carpet is nice for a Daily driver

quiets it down (not that it matters for most of us)

yeah, my car is only about half-carpeted right now, and the only places i have sound deadening are under the drivers seat and under the pedals, to keep the heat out.

When I pulled the old carpet I noticed a TON of heat coming up from the floor right under my feet. : So I'm looking forward to getting things cooled down again.

do any of you have pictures of this installed? My car has an entirely dark blue interior, and I can't stand it. What is included in the kit? I have a '90 hatch.

just pulled up the foam stuff. I left the tar in although the previous owner started to take the tar out but only got about 2sqft done and decided it was to much work. I haven't gotten the carpet in yet but will this weekend. I will need to get some quality spray contact glue to secure the carpet down.

I don't have it intsalled just yet. I nludes teh carpet cut and molded to shap for the car with the jute backing (foam like insulative stuff) for the passenger area as well as cargo area. I aslo oppted to get the matching floor mats which are NOT the universal cheap ones you get at Wally World but again custom fitted mats. I'll get pictures up after I install it this weekend.
