i just bought the car about a month ago. thats the way it came. im guessing he replaced it because its kinda wavy and he also replaced the headliner cloth.omgjacki wrote:Did you dye your carpet black or did you swap carpets?
haha yea. i personally hate the white face gauges. i hated all the white he had before. heres a pic of the door panel fabric i put in. i cut out the shape from the back, wrapped the soft leather around and glued the piece back it. i had to try 3 different types of material because they were too thick to wrap around. i really didnt want a cloth fabrici also installed some sparco carbon fiber pedals. has anyone had trouble with there foot slipping? i put grips on the clutch and brake but they dont come with grips for the gas.heres a pic of the seats when i first got it if you were wondering(so dirty)steeda763 wrote:Hey I've got that same exact CD player! Now all I need is a Sparco shift knob, Nardi wheel, white face gauges, remove all the tweed, and put in a new carpet
the steering wheel with a normal adapter w/ shipping was 320 from mynismo.com. it was so easy to install. the instructions were in japanese or something but seriously, you dont even need directions.ThuG LyFe wrote:nice i like the seats and the steering wheel too...seats kinda remind me of rsx seats.
how much do those steering wheels run and is it hard to install one?
nope not really like i said before. i cut it from the back, then sprayed the piece with spray adhesive and laid the vinyl down in the bowl parts first to make sure it stayed. then worked the air out and wrinkles from there. it also helped to set a round object like a softball in the corners so it sticks better when it dries. then i positioned it back it and hot glued a couple edges in the back to make it stay while i put liquid nails on it. worked good for me. my passenger side looks bad so i might have to redo it sometime soon. anyway good lucksteeda763 wrote:I'd like some more details on how you wrapped your door panels. I tried the same thing on some door panels in a different car that I had a long time ago and it didn't last too long. I used soft, thin vinyl and heated it with a heat gun to soften it even more, and I used 3M Spray Adhesive to bind it to the door. Other than the soft leather, did you do something different from that?
o sorry no i actually dont notice it at all. it might be a touch forward but it sits pefect for me.AZ89two4Tsx wrote:Soooooooo, do you notice a difference in the wheel position wise? Like, does it sit closer to you at all?
