Wow, I wasn't expecting a 2-pipe short ram... and without a mounting bracket?

"Remark:1. This shortram air intake does NOT come with mounting bracket. If you are looking for intake that comes with mounting bracket, please purchase the brand name intakes such as AEM, Injen or Fujita Air Intake instead."

You can make your own CAI intake. I found some pipes with various lengths and hoses at Kragen.

I can understand adding pipes to make an SRI into a CAI, but I was saying that a floppy two piece SRI is a little cheesy; you'll get a higher possibility of failure, especially with no bracket to stabilize the unit. I would assume the buyer would want/need to fabricate their own mount, which would defeat the purpose of buying an "aftermarket" kit like this.

No, that person is an impostor! Lol, it is my handle on PSN, and just about everything else for the past 10-12 years that doesn't need to sound professional. It's funny b/c I really don't drink that much anymore - been too busy growing up and getting old

If you look around you can get an injen or k&n short ram for 150 dont mess with home made parts, especially if you dont know enough to understand the piping.

Calm on the CAPS. An intake won't be drastic in terms of horsepower, you will get around 1-5hp at most from these intakes which won't effect your launch as much.
