im looking for a good, and (somewhat) cheap intake system. i was looking on ebay, and came across this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...59174

Tell me what you think.... Any other ideas??

That thing is definitely not a cold air intake. For one there is no way that little extension can get that air filter out of the engine compartment into cold air. Most true cold air intakes require modification to the body (Cutting into the wheel well). More likely this is a Warm Air Intake, and a cheap one at that. A tell-tale sign is the supposed 10+ Horsepower and Torque gain. Maybe these figures were taken at the crank on a cold engine on a cold day, but you wont see these kinds of performance figures on the road. If you're looking for sound, and don't care about looks, or a possible crappy air-filter (Never heard of the brand name), I'd say go for it, but don't be expecting large performance yields.
