LC-1 in Final Pre-release

The LC-1 (aka Lambda Cable) is a complete wideband controller built in to a sealed and rugged cable. It features the same industry-leading patented digital circuit found in the proven LM-1, and includes digital in & out, plus two programmable analog outputs. The LC-1 can connect directly to the XD-1 for a standalone AFR gauge, and is ideal for using with an ECU, a piggy-back fuel controller, a laptop/OBD-II tuner, a separate data logger system, or a dyno. (If your dyno has analog inputs, you can start doing 8-cylinder tuning without even waiting for LogWorks 2.0). MSRP on the LC-1 is $199 with a sensor, and $149 without a sensor, so you can see we’re still serious about bringing you the best in pro-quality digital tools at prices for the pro and enthusiast alike!

BTW this is a XD-1

The bezels are cut. The firmware is done. The cables are molded. The light-emitting (and light-sensing) diodes are in. The test fixtures are testing. The wait is over. The XD-1 is shipping! With a ton of innovation, we think the XD-1 was worth the wait:

21 programmable RGB "needle" LEDs Remote control button to start/stop log sessions, calibrate sensors, and view min/max holds Total thickness of ¾” allows surface mount or thin-pod installations Programmable warning lights with multiple dependencies Universal design can display AFR or any channel that LM-1 is logging User-replaceable dials with web tool for printing custom dials / gauge faces

I know people like options so here are more... I'm sure some of the sponsers will be selling these

That is sweet action. How much is the gauge? Or is it 199 for gauge cable and sensor? I want one

They will release on my B-Day 3/25/05 you could Pre-Order from them now. I got my LM-1 from them. http://www.innovatemotorsports...t=252

It looks like $399 for the LC-1 with XD-1 combo... I have an LM-1 but am thinking of switching due to compact design. w/ gauge.

The XD-1 alone is $229

doesn't the lm-1 have datalogging capabilities? i know the gauge has a record function but if you cant look at the diff parameters (load, afr, and rpm at least) at one time tuning becomes much harder.

Yeah.. lm-1 has datalogging

I actually would have prefered this unit to the lm-1. It's way cheaper(without the gauge) and still does datalogging(which is what I got the wideband for anyway)... Why didn't I hear about this sooner ..

I just pump the wideband into my E-01 and tune with that... Its all I need. Also if you are going AEM ECU, Innovate is said to have the most accurate wideband on the market... So I'm going to pump its signal into the AEM for tuning. Unless you spend a bit of extra cash on the LM-1 you dont get rpm's anyways.

That's pretty cool.

So the difference between this one and the lm1 is that this is only a standalone display - to datalog, you still need an lm-1 or some other datalogger right?

*edit: so how the heck am I suppose to connect this thing to my laptop?

I wanna know that too. Doesn't look like a serial or USB or any kind of connector coming out of that harness thingy.

Also is there a logging software that has O2 reading/loggign capability, that does not require the purchase of their standalone units?

To many questions...

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/

I'm sure there site has the info you need.

But no this unit does not look like it has Dataloging. It pumps out the signal and you use the E-01, AEM or others to log for you... You can also plug it into the dyno if they let you.

The XD-1 comes with a datalog button for it attaching to the LM-1... I'm not sure what it does when attached to the LC-1...

you can connect its output voltage to anything...a voltmeter even, but you'd have to calibrate voltage vs afr yourself.
